The nearest towns are Meriden, Middletown, New Britain, Waterbury.
No cemetery in this region has yet documented public plot sales on EverJewish. Most pages still say "details not yet confirmed" — call the office, and ask about membership as a path in.

What sets the timing: the cemetery's schedule, Shabbat and Jewish holidays (Jewish cemeteries generally don't hold burials then), the death certificate and burial permit, and family who need to travel. Waiting for close family is common. The funeral home will tell you the earliest time that works.

The region includes 17 standalone Jewish cemeteries and 13 Jewish sections within larger cemeteries. Burial grounds appear in Meriden, Middletown, New Britain, Waterbury, Newington, New Haven, Wethersfield, West Hartford, Orange, Hartford, Deep River, Avon, and surrounding towns. Many are affiliated with congregations, burial societies, or community organizations.
Two cemeteries have confirmed their details directly with EverJewish: Sons of Jacob Cemetery in Torrington and the Jewish Section in Willowbrook Cemetery in Compo. EverJewish has compiled detailed pages from the public websites of nine additional cemeteries. Availability has not yet been confirmed for all 48 burial grounds in this region, so families should contact cemetery offices directly to ask about open plots, sections, and current procedures.
