The plain terms for using EverJewish, its burial line, and its text messages.
EverJewish, published by EverJewish LLC, is an independent reference documenting Jewish cemeteries and funeral homes in the United States. It is free for families. We work to keep every listing accurate and ask each cemetery and funeral home to confirm its own information, but details change; please confirm anything important — availability, rules, costs, timing — directly with the cemetery or funeral home before you rely on it. EverJewish is not a funeral home or cemetery, does not sell plots or services, and does not give legal, financial or religious rulings; for questions of Jewish law, please ask your rabbi.
You may use the site to find and contact cemeteries and funeral homes for yourself, your family, or the people you serve. Please do not copy the database in bulk, use automated tools to harvest listings, or misuse the forms (for example, to send spam). Cemeteries and funeral homes may correct their own listings at any time, free of charge.
When you call an EverJewish number, we help you reach a Jewish funeral home or cemetery serving your area. The funeral home or cemetery you are connected with is independent of EverJewish and is solely responsible for its own services, prices and arrangements. Calls may be answered by an automated assistant, which says so at the start of the call, and may be recorded; you will hear that before the call connects.
Program. EverJewish LLC sends text messages only to people who have called or texted an EverJewish number first, or who asked us during a call to text them. Messages follow up on your own inquiry: a reply to a missed call, the name and phone number of a Jewish funeral home or cemetery serving your area, or an answer to your question. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply.
Stopping messages. You can stop at any time: reply STOP to the number that texted you. We will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further texts from us. If you contact us again later, we may reply to that new conversation.
Help. Reply HELP to the number that texted you for instructions, or reach us through the contact page.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. How we handle calls, texts and phone numbers is described on our privacy page.
The site and the burial line are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, EverJewish LLC is not liable for decisions made on the basis of a listing, or for the services of any cemetery or funeral home.
