EverJewish already documents the Jewish cemeteries and funeral homes of your metro area on one map, town by town. Most of those pages still say "availability not yet confirmed by the operator," because a synagogue office or a volunteer society rarely gets around to it. A regional sponsorship changes that for the whole community at once.

What a regional sponsorship does

The verification fee is covered for every cemetery in the region. Each cemetery's operator still confirms its own details through a private two-minute link — availability, eligibility, contact, visiting hours, answers to the questions families ask. Nothing is confirmed on anyone's behalf; the sponsorship removes the fee and the friction.

Your name on the page that gathers them. The region hub carries a quiet line — "Presented as a community resource with the Jewish Federation of …" — and every cemetery in the region shows the same green confirmation in its operator's name. No rankings, no featured placement, no advertising. EverJewish never recommends providers.

We do the outreach. Rabbi Yosef Buchman writes to each cemetery personally, mentions the Federation's support, and walks the office through the link. Families' questions sent through any page are forwarded to the operator the same minute, free, and unanswered ones come back to us so no family is left waiting.

A community report each quarter. How many families looked at the region's pages, how many arrived from an AI answer or a search, how many asked a question, which cemeteries still have gaps — the picture a planning department otherwise never sees.

Why it matters now

Families increasingly ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI answers "where can we bury near …" and get an answer assembled from whatever structured source exists. EverJewish is that source for Jewish burial. When a cemetery's page says "not yet confirmed," so does the answer the family receives. When it is confirmed by the operator, the family gets the right hours, the right eligibility, the right phone number — and the Federation's name is on the page that made it so.

Sponsorship is priced per region by the number of cemeteries it covers — a fraction of what the listings would cost verified one by one, with the whole region done in one conversation. What stays the same

EverJewish remains an independent record. Sponsorship never changes editorial content, ordering, or which cemeteries appear; every listing stays free to correct; and family contact details are shared only with the cemetery a family chooses to write to — never sold, never pooled.
